What is Kundalini Yoga?

A short video given by Gurmuk Kaur, wonderful International KT teacher.  She will talk a bit about KY and show you a sample of what a class is like.  Takes about 5 minutes.  But the best way is to drop into a few classes and have our own experience.

Yogi Bhajan brought Kundalini Yoga to the West in 1968.  He is the Master of Kundalini Yoga and I was lucky enough to have sat at his feet and listening to the ancient teaching he shared with us.                                              111“Kundalini yoga classes are a dynamic blend of postures, pranayam, mantra, music and meditation, which teach you the art of relaxation, self-healing and elevation. Balancing body and mind enables you to experience the clarity and beauty of your soul. No previous experience in yoga is required for you to achieve results with your very first class. Men of great knowledge actually found out about the chakras – their workings, their petals, their sounds, their infinity, their co-relationship, their powers. They found that the life of a human is totally based on these chakras. This total science gave birth to Kundalini Yoga.”     Yogi Bhajan, The Aquarian Teacher

KundaliniYoga is also very much a spritual quest of yourself.  It will allow you to see your greatness, expand your visons, your aura and magnetic field.  I recommend everyone to try a class at least a once within your lifetime.  It is one of the sweetest gifts you can give yourself.
